SuiteForge

NetSuite gives you one template per form. Your business needs more.

An add-on that works with NetSuite — a button on your transaction record, a modal with your templates, and you pick the right one. PDF or CSV. Invoices, sales orders, purchase orders, and more.

Install to your sandbox at zero cost. Pay only when you promote to production. Reversible by design — full removal whenever you want.

If you’ve ever needed two different templates on the same transaction form, you know the limit.

Domestic vs. international invoices
English vs. localized documents
Brand A vs. Brand B (multi-brand wholesalers)
Different PO formats for different vendors
Customer-specific layouts for your largest accounts

NetSuite gives you one preferred template per custom transaction form. No conditional logic. No customer-level override. No subsidiary routing. One template, one form.

Today’s workarounds — and why they break

Workaround 1
Splinter the custom form

A separate Sales Order form for each scenario. Users have to remember to switch forms before printing or exporting. Defaults break. New custom fields don't propagate. Reporting gets messy.

You end up with five near-identical forms and a "which one do I use?" wiki page.
Workaround 2
Cram conditional logic into one mega-template

FreeMarker <#if> blocks inside a single Advanced PDF template. Works for small differences. Falls apart when layouts diverge meaningfully — different tax tags, different banking footers, different language strings.

Unmaintainable above 3–4 variants.
Workaround 3
Pay a consultant for a one-off SuiteScript hack

$5K–$15K, weeks of back-and-forth, and you own the maintenance forever.

When NetSuite ships a release, you find out at 2 AM whether it still works.

A button on your transaction record. Click it. Pick the right template. Done.

Behind the scenes: a User Event Script + Client Script + Suitelet trio. Pattern documented publicly for years; never packaged for resale until now.

  • A button on the transaction record — click it, pick a template, done
  • Works with invoice, sales order, purchase order, packing slip, statement, and return authorization
  • Export as PDF or CSV
  • Admin-friendly setup — install and configure without developers

How it installs

This is where most NetSuite add-ons lose their security review. Ours doesn’t.

Sandbox first, always

You start in your own sandbox. We deploy via SDF over Token-Based Authentication. No bundle, no SuiteApp.com listing, no source-account dependency.

Two-tier tokens

Deploy token (high permission, time-bound — revoke after install). Runtime token (low permission, scoped to least privilege).

Full transparency

See the complete object inventory — every script, custom record, and field — before anything touches your account. We validate the entire deploy against your live environment first, then you watch it land with a real-time deployment log.

Reversible by design

Every object we create carries a SuiteForge namespace and is logged to an uninstall manifest, so nothing blends into your account and nothing gets left behind by accident. One click removes everything the API permits; for the handful of custom fields and record types NetSuite only lets you delete from the UI, you get a dependency-ordered checklist with direct links — full removal in minutes.

No customer transaction data leaves your account. Our license-check sends only your NetSuite account ID. Period. If your security team has a question, send them this page first — or have them reach out to us directly.

Frequently asked questions

We’re in early partner mode.

Right now, SuiteForge Dispatch installs are done hands-on with the founder. Self-serve deployment isn’t available yet — and that’s by design. We’re working closely with a small group of early partners to refine every detail before rolling this out broadly.

If you want to be one of them, we’d love to work with you.
